Every School an EcoSchool!

EcoSchools Canada is a bilingual certification program for elementary through secondary schools. Our mission is to nurture student leaders, reduce the environmental impact of schools, and build sustainable school communities.

Why certify?

The EcoSchools program is both a framework and a toolbox for taking action and engaging in environmental education for students, teachers, and school boards/districts.

Is there a cost to certify?

For all publicly-funded schools in Canada, certifying with the EcoSchools program is free of charge. To register as an Independent school, virtual school, or outdoor education centre, contact us at programs@ecoschools.ca.
